Halloween, pregnancy and painkillers

I know this is a long time coming...

So. Halloween. Pictures are forthcoming; I just haven't gotten into the office to upload them off of the camera. Anyways, of course Amanda, Shana and I went as Daphne, Velma and Shaggy, respectively. Freddy was at a frat party (up to some sort of homosexual activity, no doubt), and we set off in search of Scooby Doo, box o' Scooby Snax in hand. Shana looked the best -- undoubtedly Velma. People did pick up on who we were right away though; that was awesome. No having to explain the costume.

We went to Franklin St. for the obligatory ogle at Adam and Eve, the Lego man and assorted pirates, devils and ghouls, both slutty and virtuous. Of course, Franklin St. is most fun when one is drunk, so we went to the sketchiest apartment complex and the most fun party. I knew about half of its attendees, which was fantastic since I was counting on knowing only one. We got wildly merry and went back to Franklin St. to meet up with drunk and sober friends, and eventually stumble home. I didn't feel too terribly nasty the next day, so I consider it all in all a success.

Then I got the shock of my life at church. Let me run down the following:

- perpetually scantily (and tackily) clad
- holier-than-thou biatch with no reason to be
- met dude(s) online
- dropped out of Lutheran college
- got preg
- got married
- moved in with parents (jobless hubby in tow)
- about to drop

To whom does all apply?

Christine Sands.

You heard it here first (even Mom didn't know, although apparently it was no news to Jen -- who told me-- , Elaine and Alana).

And of course I got all cut up today. Ouchies. Although it's no melanoma, I know you can relate to my pain. At least I got me some Darvoset. I can't move for another hour, bathe for another 42 or lift anything heavy till I get my sutures out (18 days, ewww). It kind of sucks, but it's also better than being at school (Dad's yelling at Army and all).

That's my update, straight and simple. I'm too doped up to think of anything clever.

xxxAnnie
