Questioning
Some days I want to know answers to things that obviously have no answers, things like "what am I doing here" and "how did I end up here" and also lesser things, like how can bands named "Cattle Decapitation plus Goatwhore" and "Planes Mistaken for Stars" be on the same page together? And why would anyone want to put all the time and effort into being a band and trying to get a gig (let alone in New York City) but name their band after a disgusting act performed on livestock? On the other hand, I have no idea who these "Planes Mistaken for Stars" people are, but the name is beautiful.
Completely unrelated, I so want a pumpkin milkshake or pumpkin-flavored something right now. I guess I'll have to stick with my pumpkin scented leave-in conditioner. Also, why must I work (doing, basically, nothing here today) while The Decemberists are playing a free (short) show in Soho right now? And The Shins @ 4:00. Being an adult with a real job is SO unfair.

omg, you are missing both the Decemberists and the Shins? Saaaaaaaaaaaad. I am listening to the D's new album now, "The Crane Wife". If you haven't heard it, go do so immediately. It's fantastic, of course.
I think I have heard (of, or possibly even the music of) Planes Mistaken for Stars. I'll have to do some research, but that's not the first time I've heard that name.
Also, pumpkin shakes are SO on the list of things to do next weekend, obvo!
